The warmth of the spring sun awakens my soul and stirs the energy inside me. My limbs soften and the snow that has been around me for months melts and is absorbed into the ground. Spring is here and soon it will be my time to bloom.
Slowly the buds form at the end of my limbs getting ready to pop into bright green leaves. I wonder what this season will be like and look forward to the return of my feathered and furry friends. What stories will they have to share? What new friends will I meet?
This year, I will stretch even higher, pushing to touch life’s energy source that spreads its radiance to all.
